The Staff of Heartland Embrace

Mission Statement:  Heartland Embrace Inc. is a project driven, humanitarian relief organization, mobilized to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve by working together for the well-being of the beneficiary in relation to their own finances.

Faye Crandall - President, Representive Payee

Faye L. Crandall was raised in a small town in western Minnesota with four siblings. After graduation from Dawson High School, she attended one year of college in Minneapolis and transferred to Olivet Nazarene College in Illinois where she met her husband. After they married in 1966, Faye's husband pastored six churches in Illinois and Wisconsin. During their tenure in Wisconsin, Faye began working for Waupaca County Department of Health and Human Services doing representative payee assistance, among other commitments, for 30 years. When her job was eliminated at WCDHHS, Faye envisioned continuing the same line of work in order to help people with representative payee needs. Heartland Embrace, Inc. was the means to seeing that vision materialize. 

 Philip Thompson - Vice President

Philip Thompson was raised by missionary parents in the county of Mexico.  Philip graduated from Preparatoria from the Colegio Americano de Torreon in 1982 and from Freedom Christian High School in 1983.   Philip served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1990.  In 1993, Philip graduated from International Bible College with a Bachelors of Theology.  From 1994 to 1997, Philip served as the Family Care Pastor of Destiny Church in San Antonio, Texas.  In 1997 Philip and his family relocated to Waupaca to become the Sr. Pastor of Victory Church. Since that time he has also become the President of Heartland Embrace, Inc. and in 2007, he graduated from Crown College with a Masters of Organizational Leadership.  Philip's vision is to create an environment of service and excellence through organizational leadership.  

Tamera Thompson - Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant 

Tamera Thompson was born and raised in Northern California. She is from a family of 6 siblings. She met her husband in 1982 and married in 1984.  She and her husband have been ministering in churches for the last 30 years. Outside the church, she has worked for many years in the area of finances.  She brings to Heartland Embrace, Inc. a heart to assist people with their financial needs.  

 Adin Crandall - Treasurer 

 Adin Crandall was raised in Langlade County, Wisconsin with eight siblings. He graduated from Antigo High School in 1962 and Olivet Nazarene College in Illinois in 1967. Adin pastored six different churches in Illinois and Wisconsin. He presently does counseling for CHAPS Academy, as well as pastoring for a small rural church near Manawa. Adin's vision is to help as many people as possible to live according to God's precepts with integrity and fullness of joy.
